For perfect continuity,ESD chairs must have chrome plated back bars and gas lift tubes, plus special conductive oil in the lift tubes. Check ESD chairs with a surface resistance meter that applies 100 volts. This will only measure the dissipative range of the fabric. Now measure from any point on the fabric on either cushion to the drag chain or ESD caster. It’s easy if you have some thin metal. Just put it under a caster or the chain.

ANSI/BIFMA requires a rating of ten to the ninth or lower, but not lower than ten to the fifth.

General Information: The higher the standard number, the more particulate is acceptable. i.e. Class 100,000 allows 100,000 particles, where Class 3 allows 3.

BenchPro™ cleanroom chair components are wiped down with alcohol prior to packaging, then double bagged and boxed.

Foam Construction: 2.7” Thick Five density foam set. The top layer is Memory Foam for exceptional comfort, under that is soft foam maximize comfort for lighter weight person, then Medium Density followed by extra firm foam for the heavier person. Under this is a special firm foam with a cut-out pattern in the center to protect the exclusive internal 3M™ filter system from excessive compression.

Cleanroom Standards: Meets and exceeds all National Standards for Class-100 Cleanroom. (When Independently Tested for Class 100, it Passed with only 3 particles).

Seating Products Warranty

- Frames are warranted to stay as strong as when they were new for 10 years.

- Upholstery, including the foam, fabric and molded wood understructure must remain attractive and in proper working condition for five years. (The exception shall be damage due to customer impacts, burns, stains, cuts, etc.)

- Our bumper-grade chrome will not delaminate, fade, rust or become unattractive for 10 - years.

- Static Control (ESD) properties of our seating must remain within the nationally accepted standards of ANSI/ESDA S20.20, GSA and The ESD Association established and in place at the time of sale, for 10 - years.

- Clean room seating must maintain the standards of a Class 100 for 10 - years.

Exceptions: Our seating warranty is extended to the original purchaser and is prorated when the chairs are used in multiple-shift operations.

BenchPro™ will refund the entire purchase price including freight and tax (if any) or replace the product or component that is defective, and pay for the freight.

Due Diligence: Please, if a chair is found to be defective in a way that could lead to an accident, take it out of service and tag it as dangerous until replacements or replacement parts are received and assembled.

Destruction: Dangerous products should not be put into open waste disposal system until they have been made unusable, so no third party can claim them and be injured.

Product Returns:

1. No return is ever required. (We may ask for an electronic photo in cases where we have not seen the problem before).

2. If the product is purchased but not needed, and returned with freight prepaid, and in new condition with original packing materials, we charge a restocking charge. We also charge a restocking charge for products ordered but cancelled after the product is built. (This is to cover our repackaging, reselling and handling).

From the lawyers: In no case shall BenchPro™, its distributors, employees, related divisions, and other entities be responsible for any direct, consequential or indirect damage caused by the use, inability to use, or incorrect use of our products. Our liability is limited to replacement of product or a full refund.

3 LEVER CONTROL

Assembly Below

1. No tools are required. Unpack the box. Insert the casters into the base. Turn the base over.

2. Drop the gas cylinder into the tapered hole in the base.

3. Place the cushion and steel plate over the top of the gas cylinder.

4. Remove the knob on the back. Reinsert the knob. Tighten.

5. Remove the knob on the bottom of the seat plate. Reinsert the knob and washers. Tighten.

3. Place the cushion and steel plate over the top of the gas cylinder.

4. Insert back bar through the steel plate and adjust the back bar at desired height. Tighten.

5. Insert the plastic pin onto the back bar.
